If your child likes to dabble in the kitchen, then this party will really let them show off their future chef skills. With personalized aprons and a kitchen full of fun things to make, everyone who attends the Whip Me Up a Cooking Party will enjoy the teamwork, creativity, and sense of accomplishment that comes from the kitchen!
We start with beautiful handmade invitations addressed and mailed to your guests. Party Stylings even collects the RSVPs for you by phone or through our web site.
On the day of the party, we arrive 90 minutes early to set-up a complete décor package that includes a fully stocked work station, low tables and floor cushions for dining, elegant linens, and themed tablescaping with plates, glassware, and flatware.
Upon arrival, all the kids are given high quality cloth aprons and a chef’s hat before being led to the prep table. The group is given a recipe and instructions, and tasks are divided amongst the group so everyone has a chance to participate. Each child gets to keep their new chef attire as part of their take-home gift, which sure beats a bag of candy. As an optional activity, each guest can decorate and customize their apron with our fabric markers.
Our professional partier will assist the kids in prepping the lunch, and when completed, everyone gets to sit and dine on their creations. But even better, they get to take home a copy of the recipes made during the party so that each guest can prepare their special treats for the family, too. Menus are chosen by the hostess, but recommendations are made based on the age group of the children.
When everyone has had their appetite satisfied from lunch, we’ll serve decadent gourmet cupcakes to the hardworking guests.
And of course, when all is said and done, your Party Stylings host will clean-up the mess so executive chef can retire to contemplate the next big feast.
