We not only had the Parker Country Festival to contend with, but we were also double-booked almost every weekend (thank you so much to our wonderful customers for hiring us back again and again). How hard could it be? I mean, I do events for a living -- the stress, the inflexibility of timelines, the persistent need for a Plan B. You would think that if I can do that for a living, I can survive just about anything.
I am so excited! We just found out that Party Stylings has been nominated for Denver's Best Party Entertainer in Nickelodeon's Parents' Picks Awards for Stylish Celebrations for Kids!
Tiffany Greenway joined the Party Stylings team a few months ago as the Keeper of the Stuff. She is an organizational maniac, and we really needed that kind of expert to help us with our inventory. But, then we find out that Tiffany works with kids (she works with special needs kids at my daughter's elementary school) AND she teaches dance part time.
Score.
Personal events of the last year have really tested my strength as a mommy, and every time I pass one of those tests, I feel more prepared for the next.
We just returned yesterday from a fantastic event in Vegas. Everyone seemed happy and the time flew by so fast! It was sad to tear down our super-swanky office, say our goodbyes, and head home. I posted a ton of pics on my Facebook - check them out at http://www.facebook.
